Robot J1 Project: Overview
Purpose: Create a robot which is capable of
measured, sensual, mobility.
Robot Model J1 must be capable of the following objectives:
Avoid damage to self
Accept a command, divide it
into processes, and execute it
within certain operational limits.
Follow a protocol which must include:
Purpose of process
Determining damage threat of process
Determining any ethics
violations of process
Move around in a pre-programmed enviornment, including:
Evading minor obstacles, including chairs and boxes
Plotting a course taking ethics rules into account
Re-plot course during command execution, if necessary
